Our Frameworks

SCL is committed to working within national and localised statutory frameworks. We work to the Keeping Children Safe in Education framework which is outlined by the government and protects people under the age of 18 in education.

Our safeguarding team maintains the relevant knowledge and understanding of available services that offer advice and guidance to identify resources and support for a range of issues which affect our communities.

Your Wellbeing

We work with local authorities, national organisations and local community to groups to ensure our learners have access to services that can support them with their social, emotional, and mental health needs. We believe that all young people have the right to an education in safe environment and help learners to overcome barriers that will affect them achieving their full potential.

We do this through regular tutorials that address issues affecting young people, sessions are tailored to respond to a local issue or national awareness day.

CoVID-19

The health and wellbeing of our learners, partners, staff and their families is paramount.

During the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic we are taking proactive steps to maintain safety and quality of experience.
